Alfred:

You will not find a Diamond Seller through a post on a Free Board.

There are only two typs of Rough Uncut Seller on the Market:

Typ A (Legal)

Sellers who are offering their Stones through the Antwerp Diamond Exchange where in fact your "Buyer" may do have acess if he is registries.

Typ B (Illegal)

Sellers offering virtual Stones through some fake FCO included same nice Pictures and Sellers offering Blood Stones to Buyers who are crazy enough travelling to some African Countries were such Stones will be used to financial some wars included and against their own people.

Polished Diamonds are able to buy at a good price in so called Duty Free Zones but your Buyer may can also travel to Idar-Oberstein (German Capital of the Germstone Industry) where he can buy in cash very good quality and directly from the Polishers or Retailers.

Take you choice.

Greetings

actually African Diamonds are fine and going there is just an adventure which gives some spice to a regular day in the office. What people do with their money after they sold the asset is not the buyers problem Thomas. If you follow the line of thought that you should not fund indirectly in any way any nefarious activity I suggest supporting the Mars Flight Endavours or start searching for a hitch out this Spiral Arm to get away from this planet, its governments and the people involved. Sure Blood Diamonds are a problem but so are other things.
The places to look if you do not want to walk the wild side ate Antwerp, New York, London, Dubai, India etc..... Look at the places Antwerp Diamond Bank does Business......You may even know someone in the bank or get a reference.....

Anyhow, since I have that trade in my family, frankly I do not understand why anyone will pay you for the service. Good reliable contacts are needed, you need a reputation of performance and then money, if you have that you will have a straight business, otherwise do not bother, and ah.......if you have that you can and do go direct......

Thomas, no apology necessary, just wanted people in general to be reminded to think outside the box of the "public" perspective.

Sure working against the public perception makes money and the more someone does it, the more profit but also the higher the winds get, they may even throw some one into trouble.

I have seen people in Africa who go after diamond trades without any knowledge (at least be armed and "ready and willing" to use them or have the right people around you), just like I've seen people going into the Filipino Tropical Area's searching for the famous Japanese Gold (finding a sort of volatile Islamic faith instead) or whatever, just like I've seen people buying real estate notes at the hight of the prices in California (now hoping that the owners do not default). All things to avoid.

Business is a trust and a risk affair and people need to keep their wits about themselves. In Diamonds and other ventures the desperate search for a solution seldom yields one.

Have dealt in the diamond markets for about 1 year now. I don't claim to be an expert, but I have worked my way to some very real buyers, very well known names in the industry. Servant financial group is a finance company doing international project development for Humanitarian purposes. We have worked in the international community for many years and developed our contacts through these conections. I do have real sellers with rough cut stones that have been through the Kimberly certification process. One seller out of South Africa will have 600K carrats available in the next 15 days. The stones will be in Zurich, available for inspections by May 10th. Please contact me at my servant e-mail address if you have a real, verifiable buyer. We will do very complete vetting on you and anyonelse brought to us.

Thanks and Good Hunting,

Tom
