This report aint complete, or is that my observation?

What about those Islamic Banks that are relatively unscratched by the financial crises? Not to mention those banks in the middle-east.... Lebanese Banks and Financial Institutions are doing great.

Santander out ranks Mellon?

The most LIBERAL of Liberal bean counters live in Spain...

Mellon is not in the top 2 in the world with Northern Trust as the other?

RBS with all of the middle east money is a sleeper..

I could go on..

JW, perhaps you may wish to contact S&P, Moodys and FITCH and offer them your qualified observations and maybe they may put you in their payroll and improve their credit risk ratings.

Re. Islamic Banks: More to follow.

If you all noticed, these are only the top 50 banks listed by "Global Finance".

As soon as I get a chance, I will post part II.

I guess there's something to be said of "no interest" banking.......

Look around and do some digging.

Islamic Banking ain't exclusively for Muslims and run by Muslims.

More and more internationally world banks, Western and Eastern, are getting into this either directly or thru' ventures with existing Islamic banks.

How they make money on this... your guess is as good as mine. Have to ask the Nobel Price winners on that.
