Morgan Stanley Currency Expert Joins Hedge Fund<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

An expert on foreign exchange has left Morgan Stanley to join a London-based commodities hedge fund firm.

Stephen Jen has joined BlueGold Capital Management, the firm told HedgeFund.net. Jen was Morgan Stanley's currency chief when he left the bank in April.

Jen was one of the first to call last year's dollar rally, according to Bloomberg.

London-headquartered BlueGold Capital Management was founded by former Vitol Group energy trader Pierre Andurand in 2007. The commodities firm has about $1.1 billion in assets under management.
