If anyone receives any documentation purporting to have traded series 57 bonds should take a look at the Japanese Ministry of Finance website which can be found here.
http://www.mof.go.jp/english/bonds/bon001.htm
The 57 comes from the number to the left of the bonds about 3/4 of the way up
If anyone then comes across further documentation stating that the trade had the blessing of the US and Japanese Governments, they should then read the prosecution notes on someone that tried to sell said bonds, which can be found here.

Series 57 bonds are tied in with the Daichi-kangyo bank [amongst others] and in fact they have sometimes been called Daichi-Kangyo notes/bonds, and if you are interested on reading further about the Daichi/57 notes then you should visit here.

And download and read all three liquidators reports [scroll to bottom of page] on the First International bank of Grenada whereby these notes were used to falsify the capitalisation of the bank.
The bonds are fraudulent and CANNOT therefore be traded
