sure they do trade for their own books, socialize their banking risk and use "other people money" meaning the public funds, to trade for their own interest, its the best you can do, anyhow since they do not carry the risk anymore I say they need to socialize the profit as well.

We do trade solely for ourselves and we take the 100% risk, no backside cover from anyone but members/partners, so we deserve the profit we make, if we make one (so far its been an almost perfect year); the profit goes to the partners because they participate in the risk taking; same with these banks, the public is the one taking the risk not them so they get a fee for being smart and thats it and since the public saved their butt their fee should be pretty low......

But maybe I'm a simpleton

You are old school Richard.. and an Honorablle man.. you work for your respect.. you work for your money..

I honestly am not suprised in your statement or behavior.. you are a cut above..

But Richard.. the creme always rises to the top.. even if it takes a minute to get there becuase the container has been shaken..

The good news is.. other than Cash is King again.. that the farmer view.. or the old school view is now en vogue.. once again..

It always comes back.. the slick get what they deserve.. and the hard working people get what they have earned.

Over extending to reach a goal.. is never a good idea.. no matter how well presented..

Just becuase someone wins in Las Vegas on night.. does not make them a professional gambler.. and what kind of life / what real gains have been realized through gambling?

Commidities Bubble / bull market / idiots / moths drawn to the flame.. buy gold.. at $1,000+ an ounce.. they all will get whats coming to them for being cowards.

I like your work ethic Richard.. I even like your kindness twords any and all.. it speaks to who you really are as a person..

These others.. will get what is coming to them.. no worries.. it is the piss poor moral values that they hold near and dear that will be thier un-doing..

It is just a matter of time.. Congrats on a good year.. you have earned it..

Be well, JW
