Because the user Anonymous / P.I. (Login privateinvestors) from IP address 76.167.222.92 has messed up the forum by replacing / deleting many of his posts with multiple 0's we decided to suspend the message editing function to prevent this from happening in the future.

Provide fraudulent information for the benefit of all.. and were penalized for you good faith efforts Tony.. I am a joker.. but I do try to help people.. and I think that Francis and his influence is a clear detriment to the masses by and large.. thus.. I dont need to be part of a board that does in fact help perpetuate the frauds that we as a group and / or community were striving to keep people safe from.. our work may be small or large but the over all effort was there.. to provide protection to those who did in fact seek some knowledge (albeit in a palatable fashion for the broader market to be able to digest in most cases) and / or a knowledge base.. so that people would have a safe harbor for good and / or accurate information.
 
I dont like the fact that you were removed.. I dont like the fact that... that lil toad was the cause.
 
I am of course not infallible.. but I am comfortable with my decision.

I will say that siding with Francis Oliver Clarke.. and my default allowing fake documents to stay in the shadows goes against everything this board was supposed to stand for.

If someone modifies a PassPort to commit fraud.. and someone.. anyone posts the information to afford some blanket of protection from the fraud and then is pushed out by a Known non-contributor.. who does stalk anyone and everyone that suits him (him being Francis Oliver Clarke).. only to be afforded protection from the person who had developed this forum to provide protection to others from Fraud(s).

I find it un-settling to say the least.

I hope that at some point the benefit of providing a Stalker.. who does in fact stand to protect a fraudster... does sink in and cause you to have a change of heart.

I think Richard left becuase of a tech issue.

I am leaving becuase of what is a straight forward case of fraud being protected..

Good luck with having another site for the bottom feeders to populate.

Looks like some of the people, who got banned in other forums, come here; those who don't read or respect the rules, repeatedly. If you want to fight fraud, do it, I very much welcome it, but not in a Banker's Forum. Go post at BadBusinessBureau.com, BBB.org, FTC.gov and then post a link to your complaint. Don't have to abuse people's privacy to fight fraud. If one can't do that right, they can't do anything right. Good luck elsewhere. Just like RL came back, you will probably too, but this place may not welcome you anymore.

You Mr. Workman unsuccessfully attempt to make moderator look bad for doing his job, protecting people's privacy, enforcing the forum's rules. If a poster can't fight fraud without breaking the law, he should not post here at all. Would you like your photo to be posted on the web, even if it's attached to a fake passport? Since you do not want to understand the rules of every forum, you are welcome to leave, no one's holding you here, no one ever invited you here, open your own forum just like rl did. What are you waiting for?

I came back because I was asked to by people who frequent this forum, not because of the rules or the handling, I was asked because people think my forum is more demanding on knowledge and not as discussion and broker oriented; as the owner of this forum it is your rules even if they do not make sense, thats fine, I do however emphasize style and ah a liberal handling or adjustment of the rules.

I remember the NY Times rules:
* What should be avoided in all of them is any hint of racist, sexist or religious bias, or any suggestion of nasty, snide, sarcastic, or condescending tone snark.
* If something could easily fit in a satirical Web site for young adults, it probably shouldnt go into the news pages of nytimes.com.
* Contractions, colloquialisms and even slang are, generally speaking, more allowable in blogs than in print.
* Obscenity and vulgarity are not.
* Unverified assertions of fact, blind pejorative quotes, and other lapses in journalistic standards dont ever belong in blogs.
* Writers and editors of blogs must also distinguish between personal tone and voice and unqualified personal opinion.
* A blog or news column has to give readers the arguments and factual information that led to the writers conclusion enough argument and fact on both or all sides of the issue to enable the reader to decide whether to agree or disagree
* That does not apply to editorials or Op-Ed columns, which are not intended to give a balanced look at both sides of a debate, as the Readers Guide says.
* Headlines on analysis should try to capture the debate rather than taking sides in it.

I am not starting a forum.. I liked this one.. thats why I posted here.. I thought we had made some head way with regard to tacking out the trash.. I thought we all (or most of us, including you Mod) had the goal of helping all of Gods creatures.. small and large.. I thought we all were against the Nigerian Scams and or Hoaxs that the scumbag con-artists try to present to the broader market place in hopes of finding a sucker every day.

I do NOT understand why a fake passport.. and the scam attached being posted is a bad thing.. maybe I am missing some portion of what you have to deal with day in and day out.. but I would think that the authorities would welcome a resource or a place where they could find these idiot(s) who try to get over on anyone and everyone... I honestly would have figured that the FBI would welcome the information with open arms..

Some how.. the peanut gallery has driven you to madness or far from what I think you think is in fact important..

Francis and his stalking / complaining of you on the subject is the reason good info and an even better person was banned?

This to me seems unreasonable and does not make any sense to me.. 

Do not let people encourage you to hide frauds from the public? I am sure you are better person than that.

My personal info? my pictures? I am myself.. no more and no less.. I do not hide who I am like a coward. I do try to be of some service to my fellow man.

I hope that you find your footing again.. and stop letting those less than.. influence your powers over helping keep the larger populice safe from the scammers.

OK, then what does the Caucasian guy's photo on a fake passport have to do with (fighting) Nigerian Scam, hoax or other crime? Don't you think the innocent bystander's photo should not be posted in public without his consent? Folks, I said many times, I welcome fraud-fighting very much, don't make me repeat that again, but you must not hurt innocent people by doing that.

If you want FBI to know, just go to www.fbi.gov and submit a crime tip. I do that quite often. I will report to FBI and police any kind of obviously criminal activity, even on this forum. Be careful what you post.

Also, I did not ask you to post your photo in public, yet you did, as long as it is your own photo and you want to post it - fine. Yet my post was questioning legality of posting someone elses photo, even if it is in a fake passport. And how does a fake passport legitimises posting another individual's photo? It's not like you're posting your own photo, but someone would post your photo attached to a fake passport, and without your consent.

So you think it is unreasonable to ban a person, who posts someone elses photo without their consent? Honestly, the way your logic works, I'd not trust you to be my broker, just a friendly opinion. No bad feelings.

User P.I. - I unblocked him, but all posts will be moderated from now on. It does not mean this forum will be clean from now on, since I'm not a career moderator, nor trained to be one, just trying to help you folks keep this forum running for your own fun, without hurting myself with unnecessary trouble, as I wanted to close this forum a long time ago. It does not seem to develop into anything worth preserving, so as long as some users want it up, I will keep it up, minimally, as my time to moderate it is limited. So I think I came to the best solution - to pre-approve all messages and to not allow edits. If you guys behave for a while, I may let it "lose" again, but only with a condition, if you don't break the rules again.

I also ask not to send me any wishes or good lucks of "leaving persons", I don't need that. In fact, it looks funny. It does not upset me at all. It does not hurt me or this forum. If you're leaving, leave it for good; if you're staying, be reasonable, logical, respectable to the law and to the rule - innocent until proven guilty. The forum's rules are very clear - do not post anyone's photo and other personal info without their consent. How much clearer can that be?

seriously, if this is the case, why don't you just shut this site down? what good is it to come to this forum and wanting access from those who have been so kind in the past not be able to assist in a "real time" fashion? recently I've requested DD for an associate of mine. I posted, I believe it was 4 days ago, and it only arrived to the board today!!
