The only reason Bush is leading the country during a time of war is... he got us into a war! Actually, two wars! If no Bush, no war. Despite Bush the Booger's rhetoric, the "war on terror" is not really a war but rather an ongoing national security fight. His $200 billion "war on terror" has only helped Iraqis and Afghanis, not Americans.
By the way, although I'm all for helping people in other countries when they are in trouble, you realize that your share of $200 billion is $667. That's $200 billion split among every man, woman, and child in the entire U.S. So that $400 tax cut you got? Actually Bush took away $267 from you, which you get to pay back with interest over the next 30 years.
