just kidding . . . here's a plug for the ABB (anybody but bush) party . . . working in a cell biology laboratory recently that researches stem cells (only feeble adult stem cells instead of useful embryonic stem cells, since you must go to england to do that kind of research, since it is generally not funded in the US), our medical research lage behind all other countries' since we have a religious fanatic at the helm . . . tell your mother that has diabetes that we cannot cure her because bush (more like, the people who paid to get bush in office) considers research on a 60 cell organism that has neither arms nor legs nor heart nor ANY FRIGGIN BODY PART a murder . . . yes, diabetes is one of the areas in research that would benefit from the preservation of the 500,000 wasted egg cells from fertility clinics (why they're not controversial according to the previous line of logic, ill never know) . . . but nevermind, since we have a sellout religious fanatic (i.e., iraq war) directing our country, your mother cannot benefit from the advances in international medicine, just pay for her plane ticket to the UK, and have her pay my salary when i move my future neuroscience career there. thanks, W! you da man! |
