Our class discussion about unions got me thinking about the union that the steal mills in PA have. They seem to be very profitable to the people who work in these mills since they are the ones who own the mills. I know a number of older men who have become very secure financially because of this. Does anyone know if this is how it still is in the steal mills? Do you think this system could be used in the coal mines and would it work?
