I see that you had a bit of a rowdy crowd at the Carlisle last night's Kasabian show. And at poor Serge too. Don't ya know that you NEVER aim for the face! Sheesh!

I didn't go (I'm on the other side of the world) but I did read about it. Plus, a friend from Ayr informed me about Kasabian's misfortunate accident.

I was gutted on Friday night when we all got told to eff off out the Kasabian gig!! (wee tear:o(

On the plus side tho, went to barfly early and ended up chatting to 'thee unstrung' who took me, my pal and a girl from Ayr to the Garage of all places!!! i was ashamably the drunkest girl in the world and am sure i had the band dancing to all things shite in the main room!

Think i'll maybe lay low for a bit, LOL

Did you all have a fab weekend anyway?

yeah Lisa thats the one, do you know her? she is awfully cute.

I have no idea why i went to the garage!? We went to Barfly early coz of gig, and had planned to stay there, but your drunk and you meet folk and all of a sudden everything is a good idea, they were on the guest list or something and their manager wanted to go so we thought why the hell not! big mistake, got home around 2 on saturday afternoon and nearly got caught in town in last nights clothes by me better half!! aw well never mind good night was had by all in the end! (i think)

Did you go to barfly after carling?

that is the first time av been out in about a month and its gave me the appetite to party, am heading to pub for a wee cheeky stella just now!

Anything good happening this week?

Lcd soundsystem on sunday canny wait :oD

Raising KAIN

Dont need much of an introduction on the Glasgow scene, they have been around for years and have supported the libertines twice, played Alan McGees death disco, been in NME and have had their own clubnight Hit! The band say "2004 may have been all about ‘Making girls dance’, but there’s no doubt that 2005 will be about making crowds go crazy. "

The Ronelles

Wearing their influences proudly on their sleeves, it sounds like The Ronelles spent most of their childhood days pinching records from their parents' collections. Few bands these days would name-drop Robert Johnson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry among their biggest influences, and while more might mention The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and The Jam, few put these influences to as good use as The Ronelles.

De Rosa

Three piece with the influence of angular punk and post punk aggression (a la Sonic Youth, Stooges, Shellac, Television) is met with the dream-like stare of a twisted sense of melody and straightforward pop structure (Pixies, Talking Heads, Bowie)
