Barfly, 260 Clyde Street, Glasgow
Doors 8pm / £5 / Over 18s Only
Special Needs return to Glasgow after playing King Tuts in May. This time round, after the release if their single Blue Skies, their shambolic take on indie-punk-rock will be unleashed at the Barfly on 18th July.
Signed to Alan McGhee's Poptones label, Special Needs have been described as "a lovely line in shambolic indie" by HMV and "glorious shambolic doo-wop punk rock" by the NME.
Tickets are on sale now, priced £5 from Tickets Scotland in Argyle Street, or online from www.ticketweb.co.uk.
The single, Blue Skies - "a shamelessly chipper pop gem" according to the NME - is out now. Check out the band's website, including streamable audio of the single, at www.specialneedsweb.com
