Friday is the last Pinups upstairs in Fury Murrys. This month we’re welcoming Edinburgh T-Break finalists Private Jackson, Glasgow’s wonderful Elvis/The Clash/Grease mash-up Glasvegas, and newcomers Diamond Sea. And just to prove we’re not a tough guy macho night devoted to guys with guitars, our Guest DJs will be the lovely ladies from the Dolly Mixture night at Stereo. Doors are 9pm, drinks promos are £1.50, there's the Pinups fanzine and badge for the first 100 to arrive and entry is £5.

After that it’s a mere 3 weeks before we kick things off at our new venue The Woodside Social Club on Friday 5th August, with Mother and the Addicts, The Tall Boy and Birmingham band Editors as Guest DJs. Plus in September the UK's top Smiths tribute band The Smyths will be playing, and Stephen Street (producer of The Smiths, Moz, Blur and Kaiser Chiefs) will be coming to Guest DJ.

Friday is possibly the last time in your life that you’ll have a legitimate reason to visit Furys, so you might as well cash it in…

I'm very much looking forward to Pinups 1st night at the woody! fantastic lineup; we do adore mama and the addicts! and i'm loving Editors too: Fantabulous!

by the way we're still popping up posters and flyers (the ones that weren't specifically for pinups 2nd birthday), we'll make an applied effort in westend for your change of venue. feel free to give us more specifically for the 5th of August! I'll pop some on the tables at superfly on Friday night infact, when Duncans not looking :p

..Oh and, Party at ours?? We have a brand new flat, it's sometimes refered to the mother of all party flats, with a DJ as a flatmate conveniently. there'll be an ickle flat warming soon too!
