Just like to let you know that The X1 are playing at the brand new Barfly club night - Shake Some Action - tonight, Thursday 27th October. It's £2 on the door or £1 if you have a flyer or are a student. Drinks promos a plenty - bottle of carling £1, vodka/whiskey/gin mix £1 , cocktails from £2.50. Doors 10pm till 3am and The X1 onstage around MIDNIGHT! Resident Shake Some Action DJ's and Ian Mac from Dresden play a tuneful mix of Rock n Roll, Pop n Soul, Punk n New Wave, Indie, Reggae and Ska!
Also! On Saturday, 29th October, our own wee club night - Heads Down Thumbs Up - returns with its usual mix of soul, rock n roll, motown jitter punked up best tunes. The X1 will be playing alongside this month's guests The 88's and Illegal Waste(from Newcastle). It's £2 on the door or £1 with a flyer again (somebody stole somebodys idea methinks....). Doors at 8pm - 1am. All taking place in O'Henrys Basement, Drury Street (across from The Horseshoe). See the website below for details and maps and all stuff like that!
