THE DEADBEATS
Mancunian 5-piece THE DEADBEATS won this year's Glastonbury Unsigned competition, playing three times at the festival - including a slot on the Other Stage. They also featured at Bestival on the Isle of Wight in September and have been hailed by the NME as "good time rock'n'roll fun."
"Like Kings of Leon trapped in a bucket bong…" NME
"Febrile country-blues rock…" Mojo
THE MERCHANTS
Glasgow five-piece THE MERCHANTS define the true meaning of rock'n'roll. With influences listed as The Stooges and The Ramones, the band started out in all the usual haunts of Glasgow's music scene, and have continued to progress into a well established unsigned band with a loyal following. One of Glasgow's most promising unsigned bands of the moment.
THE MANDRAKES
This Glasgow five piece are cracking into the Scottish Music Scene with their unique psychedelic space rock sound.
With the release of their Debut EP (The Red March) The Mandrakes have spent most of their time promoting their funky harmonies around the Glasgow gig scene, which has given them a respectable fan base.
Their sound fuses both melody and lyrical intrigue, which has earned them respect from other bands as well as figureheads in the Scottish Scene in general.
