Hello

Merry Christmas one and all. hope everyone gets what they want and there is a good end to the year for you

Looking back at this year there has been a lot of great personal achievement for myself. Highlights including DJing at T in
the park and oasis' vip area at hampden park amongst many other gigs. i have worked with some great bands this year
and wish every one of them every success for 2006 and beyond. it has been really good seeing bands that i have worked with
early on going on to some success

During 2005 I started 2 clubnights: the now defunct NME-endorsed "Tuesday Club" at Tom Tom which was a place to see 3-sometimes
more great bands from around the world a night for free with cheap drinks to start your week

I am now involved at the Butterfly and the Pig/Buff Club with the clubnight "Cigarettes and F**k All". A night going from
strength to strength at this moment in time with big things planned for the very near future

a big thank you to everyone that has helped me along this year, i have met some great people in many places, you know who
you are

Of course there have been some lows, 2 of them in very recent times. They have all been sorted now. 2006 is definetly going to be
a great year, I have many things planned, the details will be out in January.

A quick reminder of some gigs i have coming up

All at the Buff club/B and P and All are FREE entry

Christmas Download Supports SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health)

Deacon Blue frontman and solo artist, Ricky Ross, is donating the proceeds of his new Christmas download track to SAMH. The track, ¡®Wandering the World¡¯, is available from Wednesday 21 December and is exclusive to the official Ricky Ross and Deacon Blue websites: www.rickyross.com
www.deaconblue.com

Its not the first time Ricky has supported SAMH. In August of this year, he took part in a tribute gig in Oran Mor, which raised awareness of mental health issues and raised money for SAMH.
Ricky Ross said:
"Recently I have been made painfully aware of mental health issues and how they can affect people so severely. It is great to know that an organisation like SAMH is there to help. I try to put a Christmas present on my website every year but this year I am asking people to make a ?2 donation to SAMH every time they download this Christmas song, which was one of the extra tracks from my last album."
All proceeds from the track will be used to continue the work that SAMH does to support people who experience mental health and related problems.
Charlie McMillan, SAMH Director of Policy, said:
"We are delighted that Ricky Ross has chosen to donate the proceeds of his track to SAMH. Christmas can be a very difficult time for some people who may feel alone, are homeless, are experiencing mental health problems, or some other form of distress. We've found through our One In Four CD that music is a great way of raising awareness of mental health problems. By choosing SAMH, Ricky is not only helping to do this, but is also generating funds which will help us to support people who are experiencing mental health problems and other forms of social exclusion."

Deacon Blue will headline Glasgow¡¯s Hogmanay celebrations in George Square. It¡¯s a first for the band and will kick off their tour programme for 2006.

Drummer needed for Stinky Munchkins, who are...A black cowboy hat disco explosion, bedecked in feedback, cowbells and vintage car horns. A touch of the carnival, a taste of the old time music hall. Sparkling day-glo surfaces conceal festering spikes and dank dirty corners. Stinky Munchkins are soft art-rock, warrior pop, a contortion of spastic stage moves and a penchant for leaving the stage to mess with their audience, kinda like a Sonic Youth remix of Miami Vice, all the best Prince songs being sung by Iggy and the Stooges, Alice Cooper singing Super Trouper.
if that in any way appeals, you can hear some of our music on our website www.stinkymunchkins.com... if you like it / are interested in having a chat or hearing more ... send us an email (stinkymunchkins_info@easy.com) or phone duggy on 551 8543.
