Thanks to a wedding reception (honestly!) at the Woodside Social Club, we're changing venue for 1 month only - we'll be at The Universal on Bath Lane this Friday.
Playing live we have The Invisibles (invisiblesuk.com) and supporting are The Echo Session (www.myspace.com/theechosession) and relative newcomers Blitzhoney (www.blitzhoney.com). We have no idea at all how this Pinups is going to go, but hopefully we should get the same rowdy atmosphere going...
Also, we're bringing back smash-hit Smiths tribute act The Smyths for another big night of Smiths/Moz fun on St Patrick's Day, and the Super Furry Animals are coming to Guest DJ at Pinups in April! Tickets for both nights - at special discounted prices - are now available from our online shop, plus some more chat about the nights in general.
Remember we can now also be found every week at Bar Bia on Tuesday nights. Bring us your band's demo to play and we might just get you a pint...And Ambulance Station, our FREE ENTRY monthly band night is on this Thursday at Bar Bloc, Bath Street, starring The Tall Boy, Koba and Immersed. The idea was that we'd advertise Ambulance Station (which is on the 2nd Thursday of the month) at Pinups (usually the first Friday). But the happy couple at the Woody scuppered that plan.....
