KILLER KITSCH PRESENTS THE GLIMMERS, AUGUST 1ST - The Buff Club, Bath Lane.
As Killer Kitsch’s spontaneous resident duo failed to mark their successful first year in February, they decided to celebrate the 'year and a half' Birthday of The Buff club's weekly electro night with non-other than The Glimmers as the clubs guest DJ’s.
Killer Kitsch’s strong following has grown from its capacity to provide a mid-week night of cutting-edge tunes. The open-minded crowd is guaranteed a mix of electro, rock, pop and anything else that it’s resident’s fancy on a largely impromptu basis.
Mo Becha and David Fourqaert, aka The Glimmers, have been described as 'the most adventurous DJ partnership around' (DJ magazine). The Belgian duo, who started DJing in bars at the age of sixteen, have created a unique style that has kept them in high demand on an international scale. Those who haven’t yet had the pleasure of hearing The Glimmers play can expect to hear Pop tunes rubbing shoulders with classic Disco tracks mixed alongside an amalgamation of Funk, Dub, New Wave, Electro, Hip-Hop and edgy Post-Punk. As well as DJing, The Glimmers remixes for the likes of Bloc Party, The Killers, New Order and Roxy Music are also extremely popular.
