--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear all,

Azzuri shall be playing this Sunday at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow as suppot act for American anti-folk hero 'Lach'. Doors open at 8:30pm and tickets (£5) are purchasable by contacting the band, or from ticketmaster at http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/venue/190152/

New EP 'Me, Myself & Why' is out there and continuing to rack up the media coverage. The EP was the subject of a brief review in monthly listings magazine 'The Fly' and on music website 'Live Music Direct' (read the review at http://www.livemusicdirect.co.uk/reviews.php). Azzuri gained 'Artist Of The Month' status for July on new band website 'Indieglobal.com', and also were featured in an article in regional newspaper 'The Lanarkshire Extra', due to the bands' involvement with the CH4 website 'Popworld Promotes'.
(You can access the bands page on Popworld at: http://www.popworldpromotes.com/pages/artist?B240A8AC-18C3-45D7-8670-F5033B1B2A3A)

Azzuri are this week the highest new entry in the prestigious Ragtime Music Chart Top Ten. After a week of voting, new track 'Helpless' went in at no.8. The band also continued to rack up the airplay with Canadian Radio programme 'London Cafe', on CISM 89FM, airing 'Me, Me Me' and Pulse Radio show 'The Sessions' including 'Say Hallelujah' on the playlist.

You can purchase a copy of 'Me, Myself & Why' online at http://www.simbioticstore.com/azzuri/ or at the gigs.

And remember to join with the band on myspace at www.myspace.com/azzuriband

best wishes,

Gordon
