I am the promoter of a new club night in Aberdeen called Everything Else Sucks.
The reasoning behind the night is to give the people of Aberdeen more choice in how they want to spend their Saturday evening. At the moment on a Saturday, the three main clubs usually offer house, indie or drum and bass, there is nowhere offering a high quality electro night.
The main objective behind Everything Else Sucks is to offer the best electro music which is well mixed all at an affordable price.
The opening night is on Saturday 4th October. Local DJ Calum Stuart will open the night which starts at 11pm and will be followed by Iain ‘Click’ Morrison. Iain is originally from Aberdeen but now lives in Glasgow where he supports the likes of Wiley and Kissy Sell Out. Headlining the night is one of Aberdeen best DJ’s, Chris ‘kidProquo‘ Kelly.
The first night will take place in The Tunnels. Room 2 has been allocated for the night but I am confident that Everything Else Sucks will be in Room 1 by the start of 2009.
I am looking for DJ’s who are interested in the night and also would be keen to DJ in the future. If so I would love to hear back from you soon. If this is for you that is totally fine but I would appreciate it if you could possible forward this on to someone who mite.
