Beef’s Poker League

Starting Sept. 7th Running 13 weeks

$25 per week $20 goes to the nightly prize pool and $5 will go into the Championship Tournament prize pool.

Each week players will accumulate points towards qualifying towards the Championship Tournament. Players will receive points by their placement in the weekly hold’em card game. If there are 18 players then first will be 18pts second 17pts and so on down.

The Championship Tournament will be a 10-player “Sit and Go” No-Limit Hold’em style tournament.

The top 7 players from the league will receive entrance into the Championship Tournament.

The final three seats will be filled by two “Sit and Go” tournaments. The first S&G will have the two finalists (1st & 2nd) gain entrance into the tournament. The final spot will also be an S&G but only 1st will gain entrance into the Championship Tournament. The S&G will cost $10 with the money going towards the Championship Tournament prize pool.

Players must play in at least 8 of the 13 weeks to be eligible for the S&G and Championship Tournament or pay $5 for each of the 8 weeks of mandatory participation.

For the Championship Tournament your placement will determine the amount of chips you start with.

1st 12,000 chips
2nd 11,600
3rd 11,200
4th 10,800
5th 10,400
6th 10,000
7th 9,750
8th – 10th 9,350 From the S&G Tournaments

Ed Bourdon will be the league treasurer

Ron LaBeef will be the league President

This is the league structure and how we will finish the league. I had a couple people want to know why everybody doesn't get to play in the championship tournament. Because then the season wouldn't matter. In all leagues there are people/teams that make it to the "post season" and ones who don't. Fortunately we have three wild card spots to be won if you don't finish in the top 7.
