PurpleBubba said that wrapping my hair around my head could help in temporarily straightening it. I am going to try it soon and see if it works for me... I was going to try it after hennaeing, but decided not to beacuse my hair will probably be too thick to handle. I might just roller set it so it looks nice and smooth for when we go to New Delhi

My hair woes are fast disappearing. Getting it out of my face really helps! Last night, before french braiding, I spent about 20 minutes braiding and applying leave-in to the length and ends. It did take a while but certainly paid off, because this morning my hair was nice and soft (and wavy - the leave-in works great as a sort of styling cream!). Also, because I was a bit sick (just allergies) this morning, I put it back in a braid. Rather than thinking about how thin it's looking, I'm feeling good that my braid is very near to touching my waist! I'm sure hennaeing will help thicken it up some
. Maybe I should add an egg to the henna for some extra protein!
Ooh - today is my brothers' birthday! They're twins and turning 20 today! I can't believe they are so old already!
I took a video of myself making my bun, thinking it would be fun to share and see how it would look on other people. However, my video isn't quite working; perhaps it has something to do with my digicam? Not quite sure. Maybe I can try again and see if it works, otherwise I will have to try and post progress pictures.
Anyway, I've got about 2 hours till duet practise with Esther (I'm so nervous about performing, just the two of us on stage, with no instrument between us and the audience!) so I'm going to go practise some piano and write in my diary. Haven't done that in a while and have some reflecting to do
.
