She works weekdays, so we decided to meet on a Saturday. I wanted my hair to look its best for when she came
so I deep conditioned the night before with John Frieda's Beach Blonde Kelp Help. Here is a pic I snapped before she came.
She came over in the afternoon and we were able to have a long chat about hair. She has been shedding a lot recently and trying to investigate the cause. Using products with cones in them was one of the things she thought she was doing wrong, so she has been trying to find shampoos with ingredients she thinks will work better on her hair. I told her about the herbs that I use to wash my hair with and she wrote them down (by the way, Juliet, have you been able to find any of them yet?)
I should have got a picture of the fake hair she uses to make buns. It's really good - she puts her hair in a ponytail with the ends tucked under, then secures the barrette of a fake ponytail on top of the ponytail holder. She wraps it around her own bun and secures. It is very similar in color to her own hair and looks very real!

She had used a straightening iron on it earlier (but I don't think she used it for very long). Even though she uses it sometimes, her hair is still really healthy.. isn't that unfair? LOL! I think her hair is really thick with a lovely color, and I think it will look great when it's longer. Here is a picture we took of both of us:
Anyway, I had a really lovely time with her. Hopefully, if we can convince her not to cut her hair again, it will be lots longer next year when I meet with her and Siren! It has been growing about 1" per month - that means that it might even be 29" next year!
