A few days before we left London I got a Cactus Brush from The Body Shop. I got this for
body brushing (link provided by Avrilon

). So I tried it out today, just before my shower.
It feels so nice on the skin, especially when brushing my back!
While I was in London I did a LOT of walking, and I am not used to this so I did a lot of walking in the wrong shoes. Because of this I got blisters all over my feet. They all popped, but now i am left with dead skin all over my toes and front part of my feet. My heels were also very dry.
So, I got one of those hard, soap-shaped things (can't remember what they're called! They have holes like sponges and are used for exfoliating and rubbing away dead skin) from Boots and used it on my heels and feet while I was in the bath. Wow! My feet felt so much better!
When I got out of the bath I put some shea butter on my heels to keep them moisturized (and sesame oil on the rest of my body) and now I am in a silky robe, feeling soft and nice

. I plan to body brush often and moisturize my heels so they don't get dry and cracked again.
Oh! I forgot to mention, I painted my toenails. I hardly ever do this, but I love the look of it - it looks so feminine! My feet were feeling so nice that I wanted to make them look pretty, LOL! I would paint my fingernails, too, but I just cut them and I don't want to show them off. I like the look of finger nailpolish on longer nails, but on short, unshaped ones, I find it looks less attractive (well, at least on mine it does!).
Well, that's it. Oh, and I'm happy to report that my scalp isn't greasy, despite the heavy conditioner I added to my shampoo!

Love,
