Sunday - wore my hair down with a clip holding back my bangs. I was also wearing a really pretty black salwar kameez. I had a really pretty day
Monday - hair up with sticks, ugly baggy sleeveless top, a really ugly day, LOL. I tried to put my contacts on in the morning and failed, so I ended up wearing my glasses, making me feel uglier.
Tuesday - wore a really pretty black top today, with the hair in a french braid.
Tomorrow is going to be REALLY busy. I have a French 4 quiz, an AP Chemistry quiz (thank goodness I'm still not finding it hard! I hope I feel this way all year - fingers crossed!), and a Pre-Calculus quiz. PLUS I have to give my speech tomorrow (I'm running for secretary of our class). Eek.
We're supposed to dress up "like we mean business" tomorrow for the speeches, but I don't really want to dress up TOO much. One of my friends is wearing a pinstriped skirt with a matching jacket and a dress shirt, and the other two are wearing skirts and nice blouses. I thought I'd wear jeans and a nice white blouse (with vertical silver stripes on it) - it's not exactly formal, but I think it's smart. I don't know... I just don't want to get too dressed up, but my friends think I should wear nice black pants or a skirt. I'm going to wear my hair up in a high swirly bun.
I'm so worried about my speech! I'm up against two guys who are both my friends. I hope I win, but I'll also be glad no matter who wins. I'm still nervous, though!
For the dance on Friday I am going to wear a black halter, and it's one of those tops that require hair up and off the back. I wanted to curl my hair, so Betty suggested I do a ponytail. I've been experimenting, and most ponytails hurt my head. I thought maybe I could try my shortened ponytail but with masses of curls coming out of it. That should stay while I dance, too, and if it comes out, I can re-do it in an instant

On Thursday, I wore a black top with jeans and I wanted to leave my hair down with two sides pulled back in a mini claw clip. I did for a while but it got hot so I put it up in a swirly bun. Then after school I went to watch a volleyball game and left my hair down and parted on the side
