I got a really nice hair compliment today
I was walking into my piano class, and my hair was in a long french braid secured with a Bunjii (it's not a mini, but still works well on the end of braids). My piano teacher and the principal of the school were there talking, and when I walked in, the principal was saying something about my hair. I hadn't heard exactly what they said, and then my teacher said, "I didn't realize how long your hair had become till you wore it down the other day!" They were complimenting my braid, and said, "It must be even longer than it looks because it's in a braid!"
Then I told them that I cut it 2 years ago in late October right before I went to Colombo with my piano teacher - it was shoulder length and I asked her if she thought I should grow it out back long, and she said yes. So I grew it out!
The principal also said, "Your teacher wants you to cut it all off so she can make it into a wig and use it on her own head!" LOL
