I'M GOING TO BERLIN! Oh my goodness, I am so excited! I can't
believe I made it! This is the first time I tried out (though I really should have in 9th and 10th grade) and I was REALLY nervous AND I had a sore throat that day! Basically, we set a day and we go in and get recorded singing two vocalises and one song exerpt. The recordings get sent to London, and they judge you with points. The ones with the highest numbers of points get accepted. I'm Soprano I too, which makes me even happier, because I just
love those high notes

I know, I know, very unrelated to hair, but I wanted to scream and shout about it, but I feel bad because a lot of my friends didn't make it so I don't want them to feel bad. Many are alternates, so may STILL be called in!
In hair news, there is nothing much interesting going on. I got a lovely compliment today - I was sitting with two girlfriends and one of our teachers came and said, "You have lovely curly hair," to one girl, "You have lovely straight hair," to another, and, "You have lovely long hair," to me. He also said, "There are a lot of girls in this school with shampoo commercial hair, like Leia's, long and soft and shiny." Wahoo!
I herbed it last wash (note to self: I really want to try mixing yogurt with my herbs; I have heard it is easier to apply, and I really need ease now that my hair is getting longer!) and am deep conditioning next wash. With honey, I think, since I haven't done that in a while.
Okay, I had better go and get started on my homework. That essay isn't going to check itself
