Last night truly was the test for my hair. This is wedding season, and as I got to one of my friends' houses, the road was blocked due to a massive wedding celebration. So my friends and I had to walk down the road to her house, which was about a 7 minute walk (wrong time for me to choose to wear high heels out! LOL!) In
any case it's not safe to walk anywhere in this country because of kidnappings/rape/a number of other things, so even with a "bodyguard" we were still vulnerable. Anyway, my hair was down, inhaling all the dust in the polluted atmosphere. I walked all the way there and all the way back to the car with my hair down. It was also down in the restaurant. I think it was about 2.5 hours total. Not much, but still enough for frizz/tangles.
In the lift on the way up, I was glancing at my hair in the mirrors. It didn't seem to be very frizzy. "Ah," I thought, "It must at least be tangly to make up for the frizz-lessness." I changed into my pajamas and began making my nighttime braid when I realized there were no tangles at all!
My hair had survived the car, the pollution, and the dry outside air. No frizz, no tangles! Yay!
I think this calls for more down days. I love my hair down, and really, what is the point of long, untangled hair, if not to show it off?

Love,
