I haven't been updating my journal much, because the last week of school has been hectic, too! I got all of my exams back, and did much better than expected in all 3 . I even managed to do well in Pre-Calculus - how, I'll never know! LOL! But I never have to do any math class again in my life! Whopee! I also got my report card today :D

I know I mentioned in November that our school was having a mock election. Well, in our yearbook, the results are posted (I don't know why I didn't find out earlier, LOL) but it was 82% Kerry, 13% Bush, 3% Nader, and 1% invalid, and 1% other. There were 367 votes cast (students and teachers of our highschool) and 48 of them were registered US voters. I thought that was an interesting election - very different from the real one!

I got an invitation the other day to Mike's Writing Workshop. I don't know how they got my e-mail address, but I am really happy! I would love to work on my writing skills. I used to want to be an author, but my writing has much deteriorated since then, and besides, being a music teacher is what I really want to do now! I could still write on the side, if I had time, I suppose!

I am going to have a very busy summer, but I'm hoping I'll also have a lot of free time to relax as well. I'll be here for a month, and then to London for 3 weeks.

Oh! Hair! LOL! Last night was the graduation (my 4th and last graduation as a band member!) and I was wearing my hair down, but it was really hot, so I put it up with a pretty hairstick. Then, today, I was wearing my hair down, and one of my old teachers came up to me, stroked my hair (I wish it were soft today; it's behaving quite badly and feeling rough lately!) and said: "Your hair looked magnificent last night! I loved the way you put it up!" That was actually quite funny, because it was the same swirly bun that I do almost every day. The only difference was that last night I put it higher on my head!

We got an electronic yearbook supplement, so I might be posting pictures from there afterwards if I have time. Now I am off to eat lunch, relax, read all the articles in the yearbook and all the messages my friends wrote to me, and enjoy the day!

Love,
~*Leia*~
