It has been raining quite frequently here recently, and I just love the way my hair feels after being caught in the rain! My hair was slightly overconditioned from my last, deep-conditioning wash (it has gone all thin - I'll post a picture in a minute), so I needed a rinse anyway. It started raining so I ran up to the roof and let myself get thoroughly soaked! I sat on the ground, and the rainwater pounded against my scalp, giving me a nice scalp massage
. I waited until I was drenched (and freezing!) and I came down and had a nice warm bath while the rainwater soaked in my hair. Then when I got out of the bath, I towel-dried my hair, and now it is down and still drying.
Here is a length pic from today, from before I went out into the rain. It is looking much thinner than usual, and I hate those ends
. I will take another pic after my herbal wash... hopefully it will look thicker then.
I have decided that I don't like my ends at the moment. I don't hate them, but I am certain that if they get any thinner, I won't enjoy wearing my hair down and having such thin ends. I have decided to trim off 1/4" on Saturday, June 18th - the MM date for thickening. Maybe this will help
. If I still don't like my ends, I'll trim 1/4" the following month, and keep doing so until I am happy with the way my ends look and feel. And perhaps, either when I get to classic length or when I am happy with my ends, I will trim in a slight u-shape. It depends on how I feel

Alright, I am off to get ready! I am going out with my mother to a dinner tonight! And I still haven't decided how I want to wear my hair
