Well i usually use my benjamin legacy and with that i never had a problem.. i always gor for the heart/lung shot with it.Ive found that wadcutters in my legacy over penetrate.Ive shotten chipmunks with then and they go right through and a couple times they run around with there insides hanging out for a few minutes before they die....I use the 880 cause its a populated area and its not as loud but ive taken out larger game with it.. the gamo rockets are suposed to hit hard and go deep.. my 880 is at 750 fps or so it says.. its very accurate and i use iron sights.. ive wad kills on crows out to 25 yards with it.. i usually use rws super poi nts with my legacy and it does the job great.. i hit squrriels out to 30 yards in the heart/lung area and they dont go more then 10 feet.. i wanted a pellet for my 880 that would take game out a little more efficent.. thanks for your advice.. im gunna try the pointed pellets and the wadcutters..
