Droop stands for barrel drop-

Not shore who came out with that term never made any sense to me drop is drop, and the RWS guns tend to have a lot of it.
but what it means is the barrel doe's not sit strait with the action of the gun, meaning it has a downward point, and the scope usually don't have enough downward elevation to sight in.
Therefor a Droop or Drop compensator points the scope in a downward position for better alignment.
So what a Droop or Drop Compensator is is a scope mount that has the scope rings bored out at a downward angle putting the elevation adjustment closer to the scopes center.
You could also us adjustable scope mounts but they tend to move from the recoil of the gun.
