If you want sheer brute force for up close kill shots, the Big Cat might me the right hardware. Being a brute also means sacrificing finesse, and shot placement becomes more difficult. A tune that lessens the power might offer more control. All this is something you should discuss with the tuner.

For $300 your choices are limited, but an RWS34 with no tune might just outperform your Big Cat and you won't need the GTX-III either. Remember that the RWS 34 has been around a while, tried, true and tested to be a good performer.

Another very, very important detail when choosing a big springer, you'll need a good set of mounts and a tough scope. Be sure to budget for that. In my opinion it means more than the tune for any springer in the magnum class.
