I am afraid it is the world of football, managers have their favourites and the style they like to play. Annoying at times it is, it is something players have to accept. Look at Danny before he signed for us, leagues golden boot winner not liked/wanted by the CCFC manager.

It is probally Danny's form and lack on injuries that has restricted Robbies chances as both players are of the same stature and play in similiar styles.

The surprise is that Robbie has chosen to stay at the same level as he is playing with our reserves and not moved up to a higher level to prove he can perform consistently at a higher grade.

I assume Robbie could not have been on contract as I thought that clubs could only put in a 7 day approach to non contract players, and it was then up the the club to offer him a contract or he was free to talk to the other club after 7 days. In veiw of the rumoured financial contraints at the club it was unlikley a contract would have been forthcoming.

On the subject of contracts does anybody know how man players are under contract and if so when they run out?
