TT

Sorry, but I am going to come out and support TT.

I'm not really sure we know what we really want, 12 months ago the majority of fans were baying for the board to get TT, they did and now look at the situation.

Has he really done that badly on the park?

Taken us from bottom of the table, close to the play off's last season. Won the league Cup - I didn't hear any complaints last April when we won the trophy. And has us figthing in the mix this year.

Having not been to any away league games this year I cannnot comment on the whole league, but if the standard of opposition we've seen at the Walks is anything to go by the play-offs are a realistic and achievable target - I for one would have settled for that at the start of August.

OK, he lost 2 cup games this, but neither Banbury or AFC Wimbledon away were going to be easy, I only went to AFC game, where we were unlucky and had it been at home would of no doubt in my mind we would have progressed through.

Is the standard of football really that different to anything we have seen over the 10 years at the Walks? My answer is no, even during the season we won the Eastern Divison there were spells we where were dire.

I would agree that off the park he has stuggled and hasn't helped himself, and because 3 of the 4 previous managers were the "fans friends in the bar" doesn't help him either, he doesn't appear to be that comfortable, and yes some of his statements in the papers appear a bit bizzare.

I think someone in a post last week pointed out some of his transfers dealings, for Georgie, Whittaker and Bunn, he has brought in Sam Mcmahon, Grant Cooper, Dean West, Cedric Anselin, Adam Smith and Matt O'Halloran(but no striker I hear you all cry - yes we do need one and for all his ability Robbie Harris was not the answer, he was clearly not strong or physical enough for DMP level) all decent players. My opinion is the the team now is better than the one TT inherited.

The current issue with budgets is just part and parcel of non league football - can anyone of us really say we want the board to spend, spend, spend and jeopardise the club's position - whether or not TT wanted his hand forced with the youngsters he has no choice now.

I think we just need to pull together as a club, from board to manager to players to supporters - the back biting will always be there, there is always someone unhappy at the way things are run/organised or being played.
