..........that Mark was signed by B&B(!) - or at least during their time at the club - so it has nothing whatsoever to do with T.T. (Amazing how much he is blamed for, isn't it?)
Also, we were told towards the end of last season that Mark took a "significant" cut in his wages in order to remain at the club during difficult financial times.
So actually, T.T. has no responsibility for Mark joining the club at all. Nor is he responsible for the wage level - except so far as he was presumable involved in discussing Mark's wage cut last year.
