seems like everybody that makes amps comes up with a different way of rating their output . A man really has to figure out the individual companies philosophy on these things . Most modern stuff is hogwash if it'll put out 100 watts any kind of way , even for a millisecond , that's the rating ! But now that 4v will put out an honest 100 watts when tom gets thru with it !
That is if he don't decide to convert it to single ended triode by the time he gets it .
