It's taken me five weeks to build these boxes, but I'm really happy with the results. They are actually much darker then they apprear in the photos. The flash washed them out. The chassis have been powder coated gloss black. They actually reflect like a dark mirror. It will be a couple more weeks before I can put them back together. I'm waiting on the tranny bells from the plater and Curcio Audio for the internals. The gold transformers should be fantastic against the black chassis. The fan has a blue neon light which shines out from beneath the base. Should look sharp with the glow of the tubes.
This wood is very cool. It's Zebra wood. The board cost $80! Just enough wood for the two boxes and a bit of experimentation.
