Response to Different take on channel switching...

Just need two power amp sections.

The 5E3 uses two 6V6 tubes cathode biased with a power supply of about 350 volts using a 5Y3. The Super (I'll assume an AA-763 black face) uses 6L6s and about 460 volts with a 5AR4. Two very different power sections requiring different power transformers and output transformers. The 5E3 uses a split-load phase inverter while the Super uses the long tail. So, we need to build two power amps to be driven by your cool preamp of choice. One could use a bigazz relay to switch the cab if you plan to use just one.

It's just parts, baby. For sure it's gonna sound like money. Many people gig with two amps, but this rig could be housed in a rack. When you wanna get started?
