The preamp aint the place to get it , it'll turn to mush.
the power tubes, opt, speakers are more likely candidates.
Zakk Wilde uses "clean" speakers that break hard when they finally do break. I ain't usin those cause they cost too much . jbl e120's may accomplish the same objective at less cost .
some experiments will be needed .
Experiments will commence with a bogen chb100 opt ,after that ??? when I get it honed down I may call mercury , and get the closest thing to whatever.
