Let me start by saying I love the two subs I build with the Infinity kappa Perfect 12.1D drivers. This past spring I posted pictures.
Some people routinely change cars, jobs, wives.... With me it seems to be hifi gear. I just bought a pair of JBL 2235H (15") drivers that haven't been used since being re-coned, and over the last few days have designed the enclosures. They are 4.5 cu. ft. (internal) with a port tuned to 25 hz. They will be 30" tall and could serve as a base for my L100s and 2405H UHF drivers. Should be real thumpers.
Looking for opinions on the veneer. I'm leaning towards rose wood with a high gloss. This will not match the JBL satin walnut finish, but should look very sharp.
I don't know what I'll do with the Infinity subs! They probably weight about sixty pounds each.
