I played drums in high school, while the rest of the band was playing scales and tuning their instruments, we worked on who could play "wipeout" on the snare drum.
Needless to say, I was a far better welder in HS then I ever was at drumming. Maybe if I'd watched Carson instead of working out in the garage all night, I might have been more inspired.
I watched a bunch of those you-tube clips- Can you imagine throwing sticks around like that; night after night, show after show?
