I was just reading up on Van Halen and I can't believe how bad Eddie's become over the last few years and from what I understand, he's "methed out"! Terrible! I know a guitar player who went down a similar road and he couldn't even figure out where to plug in his guitar after a while. I hope he gets his act together soon.
