Yeah, maybe a little over zealous

I couldn't dis-assemble without outright destruction. My oldest wanted one of the magnets to mess with. He will probably fix all my crt's with it.

I did buy some replacement cones after comparing $200 to $1500. The ones I bought have so far been better than the originals. Only complaint is the powered sub I have is about 1/2 as cool as it used to be.

After some thought and simple math (my youngest is 12), I decided that investment in new gear was nuts as my kids are as hard on stuff as I am and this will only get worse.

I have about a month on the repaired speakers and the neighbors hate me more than ever. They are getting to know my wide taste in music better all the time.
