All I can say is that Pink Floyd can put me into a dream state. Gilmour's (thank you Tom for the correct spelling) guitar just leaves me floating. I think the LP with a good tube amp and the right pedals (I have a dyna comp) can get pretty close. I'm thinking Marshall 18W, Princeton, Vibro Champ, that sort of thing. I only want one guitar and one amp, so it will be difficult to do it all. Want to go from Steppenwolf to Tull, to Hendrix, to Allman Brothers. The right assortment of pedals could have a lot to do with it.
