New Build In Process

The project has moved from concept to design to reality. It's an 18 watt 6V6 push/pull Fender power amp and a Caswell preamp coupled together with a Tom Custom FX buffer. This is not a kit, it a new design. I had a local machine shop form the chassis and I then spent half a day cutting all of the holes. I designed a faceplate with flow charting software and had a internet company etch the faceplate. The transformers are Mercury Magnetics. The amp uses a two button foot switch to trip two relays that switch between clean and OD channels, and the second button drives the OD channel even deeper. I hope to have it running within the next couple of weeks. It will depend upon how much free time I have and how much I've screwed up in the design.
