1240.000 to 1300.000 mhz?

I have a uniden bearcat bc-780xlt that searches this band. Is there anything to listen to on this band in this area?

Honestly, It probably wont receive anything in that range, I got a 400 dollar reciever that covers the range and its deaf' meaning the receiver sensitivity is so low your not gonna pick up anything that isnt "next door"... Scanners that work effiencently in that range are big bucks.. You would however be able to possibly pick up wireless camera audio provided it can tune WFM (wide fm)...
