I bought the scanhack program for my pro-2053 and it DOES allow my receiver to receive the cellular band. I think they say it can't because of the laws about it. Looks like they are covering there ass, ya know?

cheap bastard, it's a measly ten bucks.

i live in georgia, but don't know where to go for help. is there anything i can do to stop ham jammers/cb freaks/49.830mhz abuse? p.i. informed me that somehow they can hear our home doings. i have heard them through an fm voice actuated transceiver as well as every other way possible...telephone, t.v., stereo/ help

They probably arent doing anything wrong in the first place.. I Think you have the wrong impression of the hobby as well..The best thing you can do is advise them kindly in person that they are causing interference. They will more than likely go out of thier way to help you retrofit or purchase items to filter your equipment that is being subjected to the interference.
