Hi,
I live in Portsmouth, VA. About once per day, maybe between 12 and 4 in the afternoon, from the front of my mobile home comes "<BEEP!> Mprompha rmupha fwadda fwap. <Beep!> .... <Beep!> Fprofa fwaffa fwallapfha fwap. <Beep!>" The heiroglyphs are clearly human voices talking, but I can't discern the words.

I'm wondering... am I hearing a police scanner? Or is this something else? And for what purpose would it be hidden in the walls (which it seems to be)?

Email replies would be fine.

Its FM pager/beeper intermodulation interference... if theres a speaker or intercom, cordless phone...anything basically.. then the extremly high powered radio signals can leak into the device.
