I have a Pro 97 scanner, and i was wondering if it makes any difference in the speed that the scanner scans the channels if the channels are sorted by frequency. i.e. the lowest frequency in channel 000, the highest in channel xxx.

Don't bother trying to program a channel in manually with the scanner itself without the computer software.there are some scanner which coincide the channel frequencies and scan them too.Sometimes such miracle happens.
