I say kusdos to the webmaster.It's a welcome development to have Okpofe on the net.It's history made.
The idea of dividing Okpofe should be shelved.We are Okpofe,we want to remain Okpofians.Those calling for this division should appreciate the fact that the Nigerian political climate is not yet stable. We may not follow the bandwagon of autonomous community fragmentation that is now in vogue.It may seem attractive today but it may be extremely disadvantageous tomorrow.

For the records, the website has been active for over 10 years, but Okpofe Town Hall was created in February 1994 to give Okpofe sons, daughters and friends, a common meeting place, undisturbed by distance, status or class- as it is the case with most of our other meeting places.
Slowly but surely, that goal is being achieved.
I am at loss to comprehend the desire for "Okpofe Two".Fragmentation of Okpofe will never attract any meaningful development.UNITED WE STAND,DIVIDED WE FALL.But i am very afraid that the "cabal" behind this may likely have their way becuase our values are eroded.Our people no longer like telling truth.Transperancy and decency makes no meaning to us as a people." for evil to thrive, good men should do nothing".Consequently, i plead with Okpofe youths to work against this" disintegration" trend.I recall how OIU lagos Branch broke into two factions in a flash and we have not recovered from that incident up till now.HOW then are people clamouring for a bigger gamble.
I am very proud to be an Okpofe man.I urge "OKPOFE to Ronu" meaning "OKPOFE THINK".
May, WE as a people continue to work for the unity of Okpofe.
Finally, I must appreciate Ogam Inno, Uncles Ben, Peter and Paul Onuoha for giving leadership a direction.Keep the flag flying.
